Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability
Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability
Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability Insurance is a packaged product specifically tailored for businesses which are sole traders or partnerships. It includes cover for proprietors and partners liability, employment practices liability, statutory liability investigations by an official body and crime.
Traditionally, Management Liability Insurance was created to protect the management risks of small to medium-sized private companies. However, the majority of small businesses do not operate as private companies, leading to a significant portion of Australian small businesses being uninsured or underinsured.
Up to this point, the choices for obtaining Management Liability Insurance have been restricted. Antipodean Underwriting has introduced the Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability Policy to cater to the uninsured risks of businesses organised as sole traders or partnerships.
The Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability Policy is available for a wide variety of industries and occupations, including:
Administrative and support services, such as book keepers, secretarial services or graphic designers
Beauty therapists, such as hairdressers, nail and beauty salons
Cleaning and maintenance businesses
Cafes and restaurants
Farms, agriculture and primary industries
Medical professionals such as psychologists, chiropractors, dentists
Professional services such as lawyers, accountants, architects and engineers
Real estate businesses
Retails businesses such as florists, dress shops, shoe makers, dry cleaners, bakeries
Trades, including plumbers, builders, motor mechanics, shopfitters
Note that Antipodean Underwriting is currently in the process of applying for an Australian Financial Services Licence and is unable to offer terms just yet.
